Room Hire Agreement, Terms, Conditions and Policies

Access

During business hours (8.30am – 6.00pm Mon-Friday) – access to the room for the time frame you have booked will be provided remotely via the unlocking of the office door smart lock 15 minutes before your session time and auto locking 15 minutes after the conclusion of your session time.

After business hours (6.00pm – 9.30pm Mon – Friday and 8.30am – 9.30pm Sat -Sun) – If entering after 6.30pm or at any time on a weekend a fob will be supplied. If you require the main entry door to be locked during a session, e.g. you are the only practitioner in the rooms at night conducting a session and want to feel safer, contact John on 0407 020 007 to lock the door remotely to prevent entry.

At the commencement of a session

No need to turn lights or air conditioner on as they are on a timer and administered remotely based on bookings. If by chance the lights or air conditioner are not on, turn them both on (A/C temperature is set to 24 degrees) and they will be turned off remotely as required.

At the conclusion of a session

You must vacate the room before the commencement of the next session block for the next incoming practitioner. The door to the room you were in must be left open signifying that no one is in occupation. The room must be left in a clean and tidy state. No need to turn lights or air conditioner off as they are on a timer and administered remotely based on bookings.

Agreement

Rooms can only be utilised for the time frame you have booked. Any damage to rooms property incurred by you or your clients must be reported and paid for. You must be available to open the door to your client and to see the client off the premises. You must show professional courtesy to other practitioners and their clients including minimising excessive noise when entering and leaving the premises.

Cancellation policy

Cancelling a booking via the website with more than 24 hours notice carries no penalty with the booking fee credited to your account for your next booking*.

Cancelling a booking via the website with less than 24 hours notice carries the penalty of 50% of the booking fee with the balance credited to your account for your next booking*.

*Credits are held for 6 months from the date of cancellation.

Privacy policy

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website. If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by contacting admintration. Links on the website johnsplace.com.au to external entities are not covered within this policy. The terms and conditions set out in this privacy statement only cover the domain name of johnsplace.com.au. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our homepage.
